Izgleda da neće biti puno vizuelnih izmjena na sledećoj generaciji R1 kao što je to slučaj sa R6, i auspuh bi još uvjek trebao ostati ispod sica, ali gotovo je sigurno da će na novoj R1 biti gas "Fly-by-wire" i još neka nova tehnička čuda koja bi trebala da pomjere granice u snazi !
