Markku Alen is still a frequent competitor on the Costa Smeralda Rally, and he describes it as one of his favourite rallies of all. "I really love the event, the place and the people," he says. "It's quick, but there aren't so many of the steep drops in Corsica, so it's quite safe as well. I always wanted Sardinia to be on the WRC calendar, and I'm delighted that it's happened. I said in the past that I have retired for good on world championship events, but I might have to change my mind.

Ne, to je bio Hannu Mikkola (koji, btw nije imao nikakve veze sa Lanciom).

Do mene btw. sto se mene tice Audi Quatrro i Lancia Delta Inegrale su 2 naprevazidjena automobila sto se tice rallye-a i prvom prilikom kad budem pri parama uzcu jedan od ta 2 pa makar da mi stoji u garazi 8)
