Giovanardi opet vozi za Alfa Romeo Team Autodelta

European Touring Car legend Fabrizio Giovanardi has sensationally returned to his beloved Autodelta Alfa Romeo team for the 2004 season after spending a terrible year at rivals BMW. The 2002 champ failed to win a single race and has promised to put the situation right next season.

Zanardi se dobro pripremio za ovu sezonu
I ako hendikepiran, pomocu specialnog volana sa komandama , na testiranju ,Zanardi je zamalo prestigao Dirk Mullera :
Today in Vallelunga, the Schnitzer and Ravaglia teams tested on the circuit slowed down by two chicanes; on new tyres Dirk Müller set the fastest time in 1:25.7,but Zanardi was only three tenths slower
A Dirk je bio najbrzi , zahvaljujuci pehovima Alfinih vozaca.

ZANARDI NAJBRZI U MONZI....................
BICE VEOMA INTERESANTNO GLEDATI ZANARDIJA I GIOVANARDIJA.....
Alessandro Zanardi doesn’t stop stunning. During his preparation for the 2004 FIA European Touring Car Championship, the first full racing season after his horrible shunt at Lausitz in 2000, the Italian driver is testing every week at the wheel of his Ravaglia Motorsport BMW 320i entered by the BMW Team Italy-Spain. Having shown consistent progress in the previous tests, today Zanardi emerged as the fastest driver on the second and final day of an all-BMW test in Monza. In a very cold, but dry weather, Zanardi was clocked at 2:00.95, a time which was only half-a-second slower than the pole position obtained by Jörg Müller in last year’s final meeting. “It was a remarkable result,” commented team-manager Roberto Ravaglia, “especially if we think that Alessandro is still at the wheel of a 2003 car.” Zanardi’s team-mate, Antonio García, was second fastest today with a lap in 2:01.07, followed by the two BMW Team Deutschland’s drivers Jörg Müller (2:01.18) and Dirk Müller (2:01.22). They both were at the wheel of brand new 2004 BMW 320i cars built and run by the Schnitzer Motorsport. Both teams will return to Monza next week, for the ETCC official testing (March 4th and 5th), when Zanardi will drive for the first time his new 2004 car.

I OVO JE INTERESANTNO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sport workshop, will be entered and run by SEAT Sport Italia. One of the leading Italian teams in Touring Car racing, they boast a long standing tradition running motorsport programmes on behalf of Autogerma, Volkswagen Audi Group’s Italian importer. Under the name of Audi Sport Italia, the team took part in the Italian Super Touring Championship between 1994 and 1998, claiming three Drivers’ titles (Emanuele Pirro in 1994 and 1995, Dindo Capello in 1996) and two Manufacturers’ titles (1994 and 1995) with Audi 80 Quattro and A4 Quattro cars. After having successfully run Volkswagen and Škoda cars in national endurance and hillclimbing championships, the team was renamed SEAT Sport Italia for racing the Spanish turbodiesel-powered machines. During the last season, they participated in the Endurance Touring Car Series, winning the 4 Hours of Vallelunga and the 2 Hours of A1-Ring with a Toledo 1.9 TDi driven by Morbidelli. For the 36-year old driver, this is a comeback to the ETCC; in 2001 Morbidelli won the final round of the Super Production Championship at Estoril, with a CiBiEmme BMW 320i, to classify 5th in the Drivers’ Championship. The year after he joined Carly Motors, but gave up at half season disappointed by the results. “I’m delighted for this opportunity, because this was my goal: returning to the ETCC with an important Manufacturer. It is only for two events, but I’d like to think at it as a first step. I’m also very happy for the team, they really deserve this opportunity. Now I’m focusing on the first race in Monza; with great expectations I should say, because the Toledo has shown a big improvement in the tests,” Morbidelli said.
