The Range Rover Vogue SE takes Range Rover one step further. This model opens the door to a wider range of interior colour-ways and wood veneer options. Heated / cooled front seats are standard, as is the rear entertainment system, electrochromatic exterior mirrors and 20" alloy wheels. Full Windsor leather with perforated centre panels and coverage extended to the sides and rear of the seats is introduced and the interior is completed with polished sill tread plates. Range Rover je odlučio pokazati zube pridošlicama u klasu automobila u kojoj on već dugo nosi status legende.
Snažan benzinski motor V-8 koncepcije s prednabijanjem trebao bi mu to omogućiti. Motor poznat iz Jaguara S-Type R i XJR na radilicu isporučuje 400 KS i 560Nm i u Range Roveru muku muči s težinom (gotovo 2 tone) tako da u prvi plan ne izbija sportski karakter kao u Jaguarovim modelima.
Prijenos snage vrši se preko automatskog mjenjača s 6 brzina, a pogon je na sve kotače. Kako bi se Range Rover mogao nositi s 400 KS napravljene su modifikacije podvozja. Amortizeri su tvrđi, a upravljač precizniji.
Unatoč svim tim promjenama vozna svojstva, ponajviše zbog velike mase, nisu na razini konkurencije. Izvana su napravljene male izmjene (kromirana rešetka hladnjaka) kako bi se dodatno istaknuo sportski karakter vozila.
Oprema je u skladu sa cijenom od oko 80,000 eura, tako da putnici uživaju u svakom prijeđenom kilometru.
