The Schrick intake manifold creates identical effective-lengths of the intake runners... something the standard VR6 does not have. This helps to achieve the optimum ram effect in the upper rpm ranges, producing maximum possible power. While the runners are designed for maximum flow, the plenum's volume is split by a flapper-valve. The flap control is used to calibrate intake volume with engine speed. Perfectly matched resonance generates a pronounced increase in cylinder charge, especially in the middle rpm ranges. Essentially what this means to you is:

a) increased upper rpm airflow capacity, best-suited for an aggressive top-end type cam profile;

b) increased mid-range torque capacity where, especially with big cams, it is usually lost.

Although,in the interest of maximizing performance, the manifold eliminates the ignition wire ducting, its three-piece design allows for easy maintenance of the frontbank of spark plugs. No other modifications to the air inlet plumbing are required. The Schrick Intake for the VR6 is a fantastic way to get big power gains with virtually no loss in drivability or durability... and it's a bolt-on!

The Schrick manifold in combination with Schrick 268° camshafts is hard to beat. We tested a 1997 GTI VR6 on a Dyno-Jet® and the results are impressive: 195hp at the wheels. Compare that to a typical A3 VR6 in stock form making about 140 hp at the wheels. The car was equipped with a Schrick manifold and 268° camshafts, Autotech SportTuned Exhaust, K&N panel filter and Autotech Q-Chip.

Ovo dobijes za $1790 za bilo koje god vr6, i syncro, sto izadje 1383,58 eura, s tim, vjerujem da ce cijena da bude manja jer ce ti skinu vat i tax ako izvozis iz EU zemalja u nonEU zemlje iz razloga jer su nase taxe i carine drugacije a ti je naravno neces platit, ma stavis ovo u gepek i izvadis iz kutije, zaprljas uljem i to je to a postarina tj delivery nece te mnogo izadje ili mos da pokupis Very Happy . Znaci, nije puno para u odnosu sta dobijes a vrlo je efikasan aspirin u borbi protiv glavobolje koju ima svaki vr6 vlasnik i zove se v-tec Very Happy

na koliko rade? mislis stepen duracije. ne znam za standard, stvarno nemam predstavu, ne znam da li iko ovde ima vr6 pa da ti moze reci, probaj naci negdje a ako nadjes javi mi obavezno, ja josh nisam stigao do tuninga mashine, a kad to bude onda cu se zaebavam s tim. Uglavnom, nemoj da se zalijeces ako ces uopste radit ista s bregastim, ako oces ta se tuces sa v-tecom (primjer) onda ti treba ubrzanje tj low-end, znaci trazi cams koji 'pune" u low-endu, znaci za drag i te fazone jer ti max brzina ne treba, sa VeRom imas relativno dobru max brzinu, mislim, kad pogledas kolica s kojima ces otprilike da se guras VeRi nedostaje ubrzanje, e sad, nemoras ti extremno nesto da uzimas pa da mu smanjis max brzinu da bi imo i ubrzanje, govorio sam negdje u ovim postovima o onom escortu sho sam vidio od 250 turbo forsiranjih konja, max speed 205km/h al baki ide 3,neshto secs do 100. e sad, ja cisto sumnjam da ces se ti bavit nekim trkama od preko 240km/h, mozda grijesim znaci ovo je samo predpostavka, pa da ganjas top-end, zato sam gore u prvom postu rekao da zadrzis ove koje vec imas, standardne!
ma ono zavisi sta ganjas, ako saznas koliki je stepen otvaranja kod stabdardnih javi mi, ja cu potrazim onako usput pa ako nadjem prije nego ti javljam.

hehehe, nishta se ti ne brini, ja sam jedan v-tec od 250 magaraca prodao vec da bi radio na vr6, i boga mi, cini mi se da ces placat cugu i to redovno, mozda i neces ako me ne budes izazivao Very Happy
Aaaa jesam ga dobro srocio, glavobolja vr6 vlasnika zvana v-tec, eeee, znam ja to, al isto tako znam neshto drugo... ali to je tajna i necu da ti kazem... odajem ti tajnu pod opkladom Laughing

Ponavljam opet sto sam rekao vtec dobro ide ali ne mislim da je nesto superioran u odnosu na mene,kubici su velika stvar moj dobro ide lukasaca nemoj se zanosit s tim da te se plasim .Rekao sam sto mislim imao je lucozade kakao je naveo jacu hondu od tih vasih pa kad je ovaj probao znenadio se,ja kad sam votio prelude 2.0 16v imaqo sam osjecaj da je brza ali da nema puno snage,nece to bit nikad sestak koji razara sa snagom e zato ja ovo volim jak je kao rudarska dizalica...


nisam brz ali ipak?

Jedini prelude koji ide nakamo jeste 2.2 VTEC ova novija mislim da ima 180HP...imao jedan od nas i civic VTI i sada ovu prelude 2.2 kaze da je u civic-u bolji feeling...ako gledas utrkavanje !

ma da, civic je malo veca zvjerka naspram prelude-a, nema shta, bolje odgovara na gas ali naravno laksi je, dusu je dao za gradskog prepucavanja, ali vti nije isto shto i v-tec??? vti je dorucak za vr6, i to one pahuljice, pojede ga al se nece pretrpat, ma zapadne mu za zub Very Happy .
Ma obozavam ja v-tec, nema tu sta da se kaze, ali bar shto se mene tice, koliko god vremena provedem u gradu provedem i na autoputu, a v-tec pored vr6 na autoputu je, ebi ga, sorry momci, u zurbi sam, aj drugi put kad zaboravim spustit rucnu. then comes tuning. to valjda bar malo objasnjava moje opredjeljenje za vr6 ane v-tec. maznam, nije niko ni pito Very Happy
